Barbara Crigler lately bought this 1958 dwelling. She lives below by yourself but has repeated visits from her 4 grandchildren, three lively boys and one woman.
The family home is in excellent situation, with great hardwood flooring and a massive window that allows in tons of all-natural light, but it is lacking character and a real focal place.
of the most significant challenges is a blank,
dull wall that Barbara just doesn’t know what to do with. But she does
know what she wishes there: a Tv and a pretend fireplace.
adjacent is a dining desk with one more blank wall — but it won’t remain that way
for much extended!
up Barbara’s very long, monotonous spouse and children area wall, we’ll build a modest bump-out to include dimension
and architectural interest.
We’ll also establish a mantel to frame an electric powered LED hearth and hang the Television set above it.
we’ll add crown molding to the place, together with a grid-do the job of utilized molding
to the accent wall.
we’ll conceal the window treatments with matching cornices for the two home windows.
